Matteo is currently the University Photographer at Hofstra University on Long Island.
He graduated in 2020 with a BFA in photojournalism.
For the 74th College Photographer of the Year, Matteo was given the Silver Award in Sports Action (winning picture above). Participating in the NPPA Student Quarterly Clips contests, he has won 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in different categories. He was also honored with the 2019 Monroe County Sheriff’s Commendation Ribbon for “outstanding contributions in enhancing the image of the Office of the Sheriff through work and skill in photography, graphics and videography”.
